Armenia is ranked as 9th safest country in the world when it comes to being alone at night. The study published by The Independent involved 142,000 people from 141 countries.
The question in the survey conducted by Gallup was “Do you feel safe walking alone at night in the city or area where you live?” 82% of Armenians answered positively which earned Armenia the 9th spot on the report prepared by Statista.
The most dangerous countries are Venezuela, Gabon and Congo. The safest ones are Norway, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Believe it or not Armenians have their own Switzerland. Situated in the mountains, surrounded by thick forests, famous for its cool weather Dilijan is one the most loved “heat-escape” zones for Armenians as well as many other visitors from Iran, Russia, France, Poland and many other countries.
Dilijan is about 90 km northeast of capital Yerevan. On the narrow mountain road you will be teased by locally grown handpicked mushrooms and tasty corn on the cob that are sold alongside the road.
