Armenia reserved the 35th spot in the Doing Business report, which is a 3 position improvement over the last year’s 38th place. There are 10 categories that are taken into consideration for the creation of the report). Armenia’s biggest upgrade of 29 points was in “Trading Across Borders” class.
The places are given according to the points that are given to countries for the ten categories. Armenia scored 74.22 points out of possible 100. This is a 1.54% progression in comparison with last year’s result.
Among the post-soviet, fast growing economies Armenia is the second on the list. The modern government of Armenia supports creation and expansion of big and small business by further simplifying the procedures and in some cases easing the taxes.
Singapore, New Zealand and Denmark are the envied leaders, while South Sudan, Libya and Eritrea at least made it to the list.
